IT Governance
IT has such a high impact on critical business operations, and on competitiveness in an increasingly information dependent world, that it has become imperative for IT related risks to be managed and for board directors to ensure that the value expected from IT is delivered.
IT Governance enables the enterprise to achieve effective and transparent use of IT to deliver business value, and making sure there is clear and understandable communication between IT providers and the business users and other stakeholders.
Our services in this area concentrate on the implementation of a framework for IT Governance based on COBIT and the tools to support the ongoing monitoring of IT activities. This includes maturity assessments to identify where improvements are needed to reduce risks and increase the quality of IT services and action planning as a part of continual Governance.
Together with Deloitte, Gary Hardy developed the "FIT For Business" and "IT Cost Optimisation" tools.
We make use of ISACA's Governance concepts, and the COBIT resources for Governance implementation.
